【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesguidelinesforthemanagementofdrinkingwaterutilitiesandfortheassessmentofdrinkingwaterservices.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletopubliclyandprivatelyownedandoperatedwaterutilities.Itdoesnotfavouranyparticularownershiporoperatingmodel.ThisInternationalStandardaddressesdrinkingwatersystemsintheirentiretyandisapplicabletosystemsatanylevelofdevelopment(e.g.on-sitesystems,distributionnetworks,treatmentfacilities).ThefollowingarewithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard:-thedefinitionofalanguagecommontodifferentstakeholders;-thedefinitionofthecomponentsofdrinkingwatersupplysystems;-guidelinesforthemanagementofdrinkingwaterutilities;-guidelinesforobjectives,serviceassessmentcriteriaandrelatedperformanceindicators,appropriatefortheassessmentofdrinkingwaterservices.ThefollowingareoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard:-targetvaluesandthresholdsforproposedobjectives,serviceassessmentscriteriaandrelatedperformanceindicators;-mattersrelatingtothedesignandconstructionofdrinkingwatersystems;-mattersrelatingtothemanagementstructureofdrinkingwaterutilities;-mattersrelatingtotheregulationofdrinkingwaterservices,includingmanagementandoperationalactivities;-mattersrelatingtoregulatingthecontentofcontractsorsubcontracts;-installationsbetweenpoint-of-deliveryandpoint-of-use.NOTE1ThisInternationalStandard,ISO24510andISO24511compriseaseriesofstandardsaddressingwaterservices.ItisthereforeadvisabletousethesethreeInternationalStandardsinconjunctionwitheachother.NOTE2ThelistoftermsanddefinitionsinClause2iscommontothisInternationalStandard,ISO24510andISO24511.NOTE3AnnexAcontainsthreetablesofcorrespondencebetweenequivalenttermsinEnglish,FrenchandSpanish.
