【摘要】:PersonnelthatareresponsibleforthetransferofNDEdatabetweensystemswillusethisstandard.ThispracticewilldefineasetofNDEinformationobjectdefinitionsthatalongwiththeDICOMstandardwillprovideastandardmeanstoorganizeimagedata.Onceconformancestatementshavebeengenerated,theNDEimagedatamaybedisplayedonanyimaging/analysisdevicethatconformstothestandard.ThisprocessofdevelopingconformancestatementswithboththeNDEspecificobjectdefinitionsandtheDICOMaccepteddefinitions,willprovideameanstoautomaticallyandtransparentlycommunicatebetweencompliantequipmentwithoutlossofinformation.Note18212;KnowledgeandunderstandingoftheexistingDICOMstandardwillberequiredtogenerateconformancestatementsandtherebyfacilitatethedatatransfer.1.1ThispracticefacilitatestheinteroperabilityofNDEimaginganddataacquisitionequipmentbyspecifyingtheimagedataincommonlyacceptedterms.ThispracticerepresentsaharmonizationofNDEimagingsystems,ormodalities,withtheNEMAStandardsPublicationtitledDigitalImagingandCommunicationsinMedicine(DICOM,seehttp://medical.nema.org),aninternationalstandardforimagedataacquisition,review,storageandarchival.Inaddition,thispracticewillprovideastandardsetofindustrialNDEspecificinformationobjectdefinitions,whichtravelbeyondthescopeofstandardDICOMmodalities.ThegoalofthispracticeistoprovideastandardbywhichNDEimage/signaldatamaybedisplayedonbyanysystemconformingtotheASTMDICONDEformat,regardlessofwhichNDEmodalitywasusedtoacquirethedata.1.2ThispracticehasbeendevelopedtoovercometheissuesthatarisewhenarchivingoranalyzingthedatafromavarietyofNDEtechniques,eachusingproprietarydataacquisitionsystems.Asdataacquisitionmodalitiesevolve,dataacquiredinthepastmustremaindecipherable.Thispracticeproposesanimagedatafileformatinsuchawaythatallthetechniqueparameters,alongwiththeimagefile,arepreserved,regardlessofchangesinNDEtechnology.Thispracticewillalsopermittheviewingofavarietyofimagetypes(CT,CR,Ultrasonic,InfraredandEddyCurrent)onasingleworkstation,maintainingallofthepertinenttechniqueparametersalongwiththeimagefile.ThispracticeaddressestheexchangeofdigitalinformationbetweenNDEimagingequipment.1.3Thispracticedoesnotspecify:1.3.1Atestingorvalidationproceduretoassessanimplementation''sconformancetothestandard.1.3.2Theimplementationdetailsofanyfeaturesofthestandardonadeviceclaimingconformance.1.3.3TheoverallsetoffeaturesandfunctionstobeexpectedfromasystemimplementedbyintegratingagroupofdeviceseachclaimingDICONDEorDICOMconformance.1.4Althoughthispracticecontainsnovaluesthatrequireunits,itdoesdescribemethodstostoreandcommunicatedatathatdorequireunitstobeproperlyinterpreted.TheSIunitsrequiredbythispracticearetoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
