【摘要】:ThisInternationalstandardintroducestwometalreferenceblocks,thehemi-step(HS)andtheside-drilled-hole(SDH)blocks.ThisInternationalStandardestablishesproceduresformeasuringthesoundfieldorbeamprofilesproducedbysearchunitsincontacttests.Thesearchunitsincludestraightbeam,anglebeam(refractedcompressionalandrefractedshear),focusedbeamanddualelementsearchunits.Thediameterorthesidedimensionofthesearchunitshallbenogreaterthan25mm.ThemethodologyofthisInternationalStandardprovidesguidelinesforsearchunitstobeusedfordifferentmetalsincludingforgedorrolledsteel,aluminumortitaniumalloyproducts.ThefrequencyrangeofthesearchunitsusedinthisInternationalStandardextendsfrom1MHzto15MHz,where1MHzto5MHzisbestsuitedforsteelsand5MHzto15MHzisbestforfinegrainstructuredalloyssuchasaluminumproducts.IfthisInternationalStandardistobeusedformaterialotherthansteels,usersshouldbeawareofthefactthatthewavevelocitiesinthesematerialsmaybedifferentfromthatofsteelsandtheanglebeamsearchunitsarenormallydesignedbasedonthesteelapplications.Snell'slawofrefractionisdescribedinthisInternationalStandardsothatcorrectrefractionanglesinothermaterialscanbecalculated.ThisInternationalStandardappliestoanglebeamsearchunitsofallpracticalangles(0°to70°,andtofocusedanddualelementsearchunits.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotaddresstheuseofsurface(Rayleigh)wavesearchunits.TheproceduresinthisInternationalStandardcanbeusedinwhole,orinpart,withotherstandards.Fortestingmaterialswhichareverythickorverythin,thepresentreferenceblocksmaybemadeproportionallylargerorsmallertoaccommodatedifferentsearchunitbeamsizes.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotaddresstheestimationofequivalentdefectsizeswhichwillrequirereferenceblockswithflat-bottom-holes.ThisInternationalStandardestablishesnoacceptancecriteria;butdoesestablishthetechnicalbasisforcriteriathatmaybedefinedbyuserparties.

【摘要】:Workersinvolvedintheproduction,use,andtransportationofliquidandgaseouschemicalscanbeexposedtonumerouscompoundscapableofcausingharmuponcontactwiththehumanbody.Thedeleteriouseffectsofthesechemicalscanrangefromacutetraumasuchasskinirritationandburntochronicdegenerativediseasesuchascancer.Sinceengineeringcontrolsmaynoteliminateallpossibleexposures,attentionisoftenplacedonreducingthepotentialfordirectskincontactthroughtheuseofprotectiveclothingthatresistspermeation,penetration,anddegradation.Thistestmethodisonlyappropriateforchemicalprotectiveensembles,suchastotallyencapsulatingprotectivesuits,thataredesignedandmanufacturedtopreventtheinwardleakageofsolids,liquids,gases,andvapors.GarmentsdesignedtopreventthepenetrationofsolidandliquidchemicalsshouldbetestedaccordingtoTestMethodF1359.Thisnon-destructivetestmethodisusefulasaqualitycontroltoolformanufacturesandasafieldmethodforenduserstodeterminechangesingarmentintegrityfollowinguse.Thistestmethodisusefultoendusersfordeterminingtheintegrityofvaporprotectivesuitsuponreceiptfromthemanufacturer,priortouse,followinguseanddecontamination,followingrepairs,andasaperiodicmaintenancetest.1.1Thistestmethodmeasurestheabilityofavaporprotectiveensemble(VPE),includingseams,andclosurestomaintainafixed,positivepressure.1.2Thistestmethodmeasurestheintegrityofthesuit,glove,boot/bootie,andvisormaterials,aswellastheseams,andclosuresofaVPE.ExhaustvalvesfittedintheVPEmustbesealedorblockedforthistestandthereforearenotfunctionallytested.1.3Thevaluesasstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
