【摘要】:ThispartofISO8504describesabrasiveblast-cleaningmethodsforthepreparationofsteelsurfacesbeforecoatingwithpaintsandrelatedproducts.Italsocontainsinformationontheeffectivenessoftheindividualmethodsandtheirfieldsofapplication.ISO8504isapplicabletonewandcorrodedsteelsurfacesandtosteelsurfacesthatareuncoatedorhavebeenpreviouslycoatedwithpaintsandrelatedproducts.Forlimitations,seenote2.NOTE1Thesemethodsareessentiallyintendedforhot-rolledsteeltoremovemillscale,rust,etc.,butcouldalsobeusedforcold-rolledsteelofsufficientthicknesstowithstandthedeformationcausedbytheimpactofabrasive.NOTE2Thereareseveralitemsthatshouldbeincludedinthepurchaser'sprocurementdocumentstosupplementthispartofISO8504.Itemsthatshouldbeconsideredasapartofsurfacepreparationbeforecoatingareedgegrinding,removalofgreaseandoil,porosityofwelds,removalofweldspatter,removalofburrsandothersharpedges,grindingofwelds,fillingofpitsandothersurfaceimperfectionsthatmaycauseprematurefailureofthecoatingsystem(seeISO8501-3formoreinformation)andtheremovalofwater-solublecontaminants.
